The bayou
On the Bayous of southern Louisiana, fishing is the everyday activity. Every neighbor has a boat. At a family bbq in Lafitte, LA a generous neighbor dropped off these steamed crabs that her husband had caught earlier in the day, and patiently taught us the best way to methodically disassemble them to get at the meat.
